Sara, thanks for asking. I LOVED the movie! It was masterfully produced, and gave such a message of hope. It dealt with loved ones' messy emotions, and showed a story of God working all things together for good.

I'd highly recommend it. Your church can get involved, too, by buying out a showing and giving out tickets. What a cool way to spread hope!

I love it! I'm glad other families are nutty like us. We sing crazy songs and rhymes, and I never think about it, but when we have company (twice a year) there are glances cast to the spouse that say, "Ets-lay et-gay way-ay..." (Like we can't tell what they're thinking!)

We have a Molly-Olly-Oxen...she's got the same physique as Theo/Phil, only she's a Brittany. (Which proves that french DOGS get fat...)

Shannon I have stood in your shoes on this one except I lost my temper with the offenders and told them that they could not play with my "harmed" child any longer. After wiping away tears and brushing a little dirt off his face and taking the time to listen rather than react, I learned that Joe was just given a taste of his own medicine. He had been doing the same thing to the other children and they asked him to stop several times and finally one child, just gave it back, and good!

Like yourself, I took the humble walk with my son's hand in mine to the different doorsteps of the children I had quickly branded as horrible children. We BOTH apologized to the other kids and well, it was a great lesson for both Joey and I. Thank you so much for this today. I hope to read your blog with Joey tonight and discuss the Biblical perspective our shared experience!
