My Ordinary Hero
My friend from A Brick in the Valley, Chris Brauns (whom I sometimes affectionately refer to as 'the Brick'), posted my response to his invitation to describe an 'Ordinary Hero' from my church family. I chose my dad.
Here's an excerpt: "...Many a late Saturday night, I’d find him asleep at his desk, with pages of a commentary making indentations into his forehead. I knew better than to think he got bored.
