I’m Shannon Popkin, a stay-at-home mom to our three sweet kids, Lindsay (10), Cole (8), and Cade(5). My husband, Ken, and I are like matching Superfection pieces that found each other—two opposites that ‘click’! God has blessed me with such a delicious taste of himself, by giving me this precious family.

I grew up in a Christ centered home, and several years ago was delighted to move back to my hometown—just miles from where my parents live! As a little girl, I loved to read stories, write stories and tell stories to all of my imaginary friends.

In college, I pursued Elementary Education, because I knew the classroom would provide a live audience for all of my bottled up stories! (My students tell me they still remember some of these—not sure the same can be said of Science!)

I retired from teaching with a very big belly, just a few days before Lindsay was born--but that’s when I really became a teacher. Thank goodness, my three little students haven’t graduated yet—I’m still learning things that I need to teach them!
